The FERONIA Day-Conference and Capacity-Building Workshop were held on December 5, 2025, at the Institute of Olive Tree, Subtropical Crops and Viticulture (ELGO–DIMITRA) in Chania. The event aimed to disseminate Feronia achievements and strengthen capacities related to sustainable applications within the FERONIA project framework.
The event brought together researchers, academics, and institutional representatives working in the fields of bioeconomy, plant protection, and environmental biotechnology. Through a series of scientific presentations and dedicated training sessions, participants were introduced to the core objectives, biotechnological approaches, and practical implications of the FERONIA project. Key topics included innovative strategies for the valorization of citrus processing residues, and solid-state fermentation processes for animal feed and plant protection/growth enhancement.
